The European Commission launched early this year the "Europe 2020", a strategy destined to boost the growth of European economy in the next decade, through activities aiming at intelligent, sustainable and inclusive growth. The flagship initiative of the DG Information Society, "Digital Agenda for Europe" proposes tangible targets for the Member States in terms of ITC capabilities. Experts from both Bucharest and Brussels, stakeholders and public policy decision makers were convened around the topic by the European Commission Representation in Romania, with the support of DC Communication and CRPE (Romanian Center for European Policies). The debate welcomed the contribution of Mr. Florin Lupescu, EC official with the DG InfSo and Mr. Iosif Moldovan, Secretary of State with the MCSI. DC Communication and CRPE undertook the setting of the agenda, identification and mobilisation of the participants, wrap-up of the verbatim, as well as creative setup of the place with original Romanian traditional food catering and assistance during the event.
